An intense rehearsal period is now underway for the world premiere production of Dream Lover – The Bobby Darin Musical, ahead of its official opening on October 6 in Sydney.

The show, which begins previews from 22 September, is playing an exclusive Sydney season with a star studded cast including David Campbell, Caroline O’Connor and Bert LaBonte. Hannah Fredericksen, Martin Crewes and Marney McQueen as Nina make up the rest of the principal cast.

The show’s producers opened up the rehearsal room in the second week of rehearsal for media to glimpse a sneak peek of the brand new show, directed by Simon Phillips.

  • We booked months ago at full price tickets for 22nd October and now I find out we could go a month in advance for almost half price! What's going on - no wonder theatres are always trying to sell tickets at th last minute. I will certainly hold back in future!

  • Well I would hope and I am sure that you will much better seats by buying early.....and it is really wonderful when you attend a show to have good seats.
