Craig McLachlan will bring the Time Warp to Melbourne

Starring Craig McLachlan as Frank N Furter, the cult musical will open at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre on April 26 and a waitlist is now available for Melbourne audiences ahead of official ticket release on October 7.

“We are thrilled to be able to share this sexy new production of The Rocky Horror Show with Melbourne audiences,” said John Frost and Howard Panter.

“Fans in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide are rushing to buy tickets. Audiences obviously can’t wait to do the Time Warp again with Craig McLachlan.”

The Rocky Horror Show recorded unprecedented box office takings in its first week of sales for Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, indicating that this musical is still holds a unique place in the musical theatre catalogue. The original production opened at London’s Royal Court Theatre on June 19, 1973 and was adapted into the 1975 film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which has the longest-running release in film history. 40 years on, Rocky Horror’s infectious energy and music – including Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet, Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me, and of course The Time Warp – is known and loved by young and old.
