Based on the novel, Errol, Fidel And The Cuban Rebel Girls, by Boyd Anderson, this new musical is in development in collaboration with directors Nathan Gilkes and Bryce Ives. Written by Boyd Anderson and composed by Peter Kaldor and John Kaldor.

“Long before Shia LeBeouf and Hugh Jackman, Errol Flynn was the man. Women swooned over him, men desperately wanted to be him, and above all else scandal chased him across the globe,” says writer Boyd Anderson.

The cast, who have been workshopping the production over the past few weeks include; Michael Cormick, Adam Lyon, Ray Chong Nee, Lachlan Woods and Laura Burzacott, with Mark Leahy (of The Twoks) on percussion.

This is the latest in a series of original Australian musicals from Present Tense who have had previous success with Margaret Fulton: Queen of the Dessert and Chants Des Catacombes.

The reading will be held on Thursday 6th August, 7pm at the Memo Music Hall, 88 Acland Street, St. Kilda (inside St. Kilda RSL). To secure your tickets e-mail Emma Roberts: [email protected]
