Plot to disrupt Love Never Dies opening

A plot to disrupt the opening of Love Never Dies has been uncovered in Melbourne.
A poster campaign convincing theatre goers to avoid the Phantom sequel was being organised in Melbourne by an international group that believes the musical should not exist.
As the Herald Sun reported this morning “A similar spoiler campaign, by a small band of Phantom fanatics online, preceded London’s 2010 premiere of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical.”
Personally, I can not understand how the mere existence of a musical can inspire such passion in people. Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is well within his rights to do what ever he would like with any of his shows, you may not agree with what he does, but no one is forcing you to see them.
Here is the story as it appeared in the Herald Sun.
