Perth Premiere: The Damned by Reg Cribb

Opening on 14th October The Damned will play a three week season at the Studio Underground, State Theatre Centre of Western Australia.

Set in Western Australia two 16 year old girls, 250km apart, walk into police stations and confess to a crime. A crime so unimaginable that it will shock the girls hometown to the core. Written by Reg Cribb (Last Train to Freo, Boundary Street, Gulpilil, Last Cab to Darwin) the play explores the themes of drugs, alcohol and youth alienation within a rural subculture.
Cribb describes The Damned as “a highly charged and adrenalised play that will hopefully capture the language and rhythms of a generation that scare the living hell out of most theatre goers.”

Andrew Lewis (Home and Away, The Sleepover Club) directs a cast featuring Wade Briggs, Sage Douglas, Claire Lovering, Polly Low, Greg McNeill and Amanda Woodhams.

The Damned comes with a warning – Frequent course language, implied drug use and adult themes.
