Lifeforce is the new musical by Joanna Weinberg (Goddess, The Piano Diaries), premiering at the Sydney Fringe Festival. It tells the story of a woman who, on her 40th birthday, realises she is running out of time to have a child. Meanwhile her birth mother – whom she has never met – is starting to appear in her dreams.
Emotional, funny, and contemporary, this musical is a chase through time, conception and memory that’s sure to strike a chord.
The all-star cast features Natalie Lotkin, Tyran Parke (Sweeney Todd), Meredith O’Reilly (Addams Family), Monique Salle (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Charlotte Kerr (Thank God I’m Pretty) and Christopher Horsey (Every Single Saturday).
Lifeforce opens at King Street Theatre as part of Sydney Fringe on 6 September. For tickets and more information visit 2013.sydneyfringe.com.
