An in-concert version of the classic musical Oklahoma! will play in Perth in March.
The musical features a 25 piece orchestra on stage with a full cast of top West Australian musical theatre talent.
The show is being presented at His Majesty’s Theatre by IAJ International, which is presenting a number of musicals in Perth in 2010.
The company plans to use local talent to produce both known and rare musicals. It is essentially a Western Australia version of The Production Company, which has successfully staged small-scale productions of big musicals in Melbourne over the last decade.
In addition to Oklahoma!, IAJ International will also present The Boy Friend in July.
