Pozible.com has become the hippest place to panhandle with many an artistic venture turning to the site to successfully raise some much needed revenue. Now the grand old dame (or tough old broad) of the Brisbane theatre scene, 109 Edward Street, has her own pozible.com campaign.
With just nine days to go and an impressive $8,442 already raised of the $10,000 target, Metro Arts needs you to pitch in and help meet, or pozibly exceed that goal.
The funds raised will form part of the money needed to transform the o
ld basement into an intimate new arts space to further diversify the oldest, the best (and almost the only) independent arts venue in the city centre. If you’ve ever seen a show at Metro Arts you’ll understand what an important cornerstone of local creativity this vibrant art space is and if that isn’t enough to call you to duty, they are also offering a range of rewards (they haven’t lasted thirty-six years in the business on luck alone!) from limited edition bags to masterclasses depending on the amount pledged.
Head to pozible.com and think of all that awesome, inexpensive creative entertainment (or creative support) Metro Arts has provided you over the years and dig in deep.
