On Monday 23 July, the star studded cast of Twisted Broadway will take to the stage for the third annual Twisted Broadway concert in Melbourne, and they are going to be singing to a full house!

Twisted Broadway’s co-producer Daniel Benge has confirmed with AussieTheatre that the upcoming Melbourne concert at BMW Edge Theatre, hosted by Melissa Bergland (Winners and Losers) and Rhonda Burchmore is completely sold out!

Benge also confirmed with AussieTheatre that a limited number of standing room only tickets will be available from 9am tomorrow (Saturday) morning.

A unique fundraiser for Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights Aids where performers sing songs originally written for the opposite gender, Twisted Broadway is co-produced by Daniel Benge and Kate Macdonald.

Earlier this month, Twisted Broadway’s debut Sydney concert was an overwhelming success at the Parade Theatre, NIDA. With a full house guaranteed, the Melbourne concert is sure to raise the roof this Monday with performances from Blake Bowden (Moonshadow), Adam Rennie (Love Never Dies), Tim Campbell, Jaz Flowers (Hairspray), Sam Ludeman (The Voice, Fame!), Julie Goodwin (Annie), David Rogers-Smith (Les Miserables), Amy Lehpamer (Rock of Ages), Kellie Rode (Mamma  Mia!) and composer/performer Matthew Robinson, who recently received an Australia Council Grant to expand his skills in New York City.

James Simpson, Musical Director for the Melbourne concert, is thrilled with the way the show is coming together ahead of Monday’s concert.

“There have been some really great people come on board this year,” he told AussieTheatre.

“It’s going to be a fantastic night”

AussieTheatre is a proud supporter of Twisted Broadway Melbourne and Sydney.
