Melbourne is set for a Twisted evening

Twisted Broadway takes place tonight at Arts Centre Melbourne, raising money for Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Hosted by Eddie Perfect and Kate Ceberano, over 80 members of the Australian musical theatre community will come together to perform songs originally penned for the opposite gender in a one-off night of show-stopping, gender-bending entertainment.

Audiences will be entertained by performers from Australia’s hit musical productions, including Anything Goes, Blood Brothers, Cats, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Strictly Ballroom, The Lion King, The Rocky Horror Show, West Side Story and many more.

Check out our photo feature from this morning’s media call, with images thanks to Kayzar Bhatawalla.
