Marika Aubrey to host Sing-A-long-A Sound Of Music, Sydney

Sing-A-Long-A Sound of Music back at the State Theatre!

The most successful movie musical of all time, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound Of Music is back in Sing-a-long-a format at the State Theatre, Sydney.

First established in the UK as a one off event in 1999, the Sing-A-Long-A series has now been experienced by over 1 million people in 120 countries and Sydney audiences have the chance to join in the the fun this February.

The sensational interactive experience will take place on Friday 24 & Saturday 25 February at 7:30pm and due to popular demand a family friendly Matinee has been added on Sunday 26 February 1.00pm.

This year, the event will be hosted by cabaret and music theatre sensation Marika Aubrey, who recently starred opposite Rob Mills in the Sydney Theatre Award nominated musical The Last Five Years. Her solo shows Caution: Aggressive Birds and Redhead have achieved critical acclaim and she is currently preparing her latest project – a tour of the dinner/show A First Draft of Something New, debuting on 21 February 2012 as part of the Slide Lounge Cabaret Festival.
