Mamma Mia! to close in Sydney February 7

David Somerville and Suzie Mathers

The revival of Mamma Mia! is heading into its final few weeks at the Lyric Theatre in Sydney, with the production to hit the road from mid-February.

Mamma Mia! opened at the Lyric Theatre in October last year and closes on February 7, with no extension possible.

It will open at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne on February 13 before touring to Perth and Brisbane.

The show has been generally successful since opening last October and continues to do good business out of the Christmas period.
