Mamma Mia! opens at Newcastle’s Civic Theatre

AussieTheatre.com has an exclusive photo feature to share with readers from the premiere Newcastle production of Mamma Mia!, directed by AussieTheatre.com’s outgoing Editor, Erin James.

Starring Novocastrian talent and produced by bourgeoning Newcastle theatrical outfit The Very Popular Theatre Company, this production of Mamma Mia! played to capacity on opening night and received a rare, full-house standing ovation.

Starring Rachelle Schmidt Adnum as Donna Sheridan and Phoebe Bayliss as Sophie Sheridan, the show will run until November 9, playing Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings, with matinees on Saturday 2 November and Saturday 9 November.
