Yes, you read correctly! We have a double pass to give away for the Opening Night of Love Never Dies in Sydney, and we can’t wait to give it away to a lucky reader!

When Love Never Dies opened on 28 May, 2011 at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber himself stood on the stage and applauded the team involved with the Australian Premiere. According to Producer Tim McFarlane: “Andrew has ranked [Love Never Dies] among the top three productions of his work that he has ever seen. It stands with Evita and the first ever production of The Phantom of the Opera.”

Now, after filming the show for international release (supervised by Lord Lloyd Webber in September) and a successful season approaching 6 months (nearly 200 performances) at the Regent Theatre, the production is preparing to transfer to Sydney’s Capitol Theatre for a January opening.

The show will close at the Regent on December 18 and will re-open in Sydney on January 12, 2012 and we would love to send a lucky winner along to be a part of the opening night buzz.

Extensively re-imagined by an Australian creative team put together by Lloyd Webber’s Asia Pacific Producer and Managing Director, Tim McFarlane, Love Never Dies stars Ben Lewis and Anna O’Byrne as The Phantom and Christine. They are joined by Maria Mercedes (Madame Giry); Simon Gleeson (Christine’s husband Raoul) and Sharon Millerchip (Meg Giry, the role she created in the original Australian production of The Phantom of the Opera).

With a Helpmann Award winning set and costume design by Gabriella Tylesova and stunning direction by Simon Phillips, this production is not to be missed.
