Life Like Touring heads to West End, USA, and still entertains at home

Life Like Touring, the little Australian entertainment company that could, has grown from humble beginnings to a bona fide international operation.

Starting out as a husband and wife team based in a Richmond garage, in twelve years it has grown into a strong, international theatre production company with a permanent staff of 20 people based out of a multi-space studio, office, and warehouse in St Kilda.

Life Like Touring has just announced its biggest success yet: an opening of one of its productions (Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer Life! Search for the City of Lost Toys) at the Apollo Theatre in London’s West End.

But that’s not all! Their Australian-made lovable hit, family musical Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries (seriously, it’s lovable, I saw it) is embarking on a five month tour of North America in January 2013.

The show was developed in Melbourne before touring Australia in 2011 and 2012, playing to over 50,00 people. Based on the animated Scooby-Doo series, this new musical includes original songs penned by Theresa Borg, who also wrote the show’s script, and composer/arranger Craig Bryant.

Whilst audiences applaud their success in cities around the world, back home in Australia Life Like Touring is currently gearing up for another tour of their popular theatre production, Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 Live: Time Machine.

Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 Live: Time Machineopens at Sydney’s Theatre Royal on Saturday 29 September, and then at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre on Saturday 6 October, alongside a range of other suburban and regional New South Wales and Victorian dates.

With over ten international seasons slated for the next two years and several new live theatre projects in development for 2013 and beyond, Life Like Touring is proud to have cornered the family touring entertainment market in numerous international territories over the last five years.

This small Australian entertainment company, with husband and wife team Anton Berezin and Theresa Borg still at the helm, is relishing the chance to develop several new theatrical projects for 2013 and 2014. They plan on continuing to refine their art of entertaining new audiences for many years to come. They take it very seriously and see it as developing and building audiences that will appreciate and fall in love with live theatre the way they did when they were kids.
