Les Mis to reschedule Sunday’s preview performance

The 6.30pm preview performance on Sunday 29th June of Cameron Mackintosh’s of Les Misérables is being rescheduled due to cast illness.

But fear not! It will be replaced by a later performance date of 8:00pm, Sunday 27th July.

“One drawback of live theatre is that you can’t plan for illness and three cast members, including principal actors, have been struck down with a throat virus and are unable to perform as scheduled,” advised producer Cameron Mackintosh.

“In order to support our company and technical staff who are dealing with the knock on effect of this illness, we need to move this Sunday evenings preview so that we can recover our lost rehearsal time before next Thursday’s opening night.”

If you have tickets for this Sunday’s evening performance, you will be contacted by Ticketek to confirm that tickets will be valid for the new performance date. Patrons unavailable to attend the rescheduled performance will be given priority access into new performance dates.

Any patrons holding tickets for the 6.30pm performance on Sunday 29th June can contact Ticketek on 1300 795 012 or lesmis@ticketek.com.au for further information.

For any other ticket enquiries, visit  www.ticketek.com.au/lesmis.

  • Well this is great considering we are flying interstate specifically for this performance. Ticketek also have no idea about this and won't help me.
Will we get priority for the Saturday night and Sunday matinee performances with the VIP seats which I know are always held for families etc?
