SNAPS! It’s official! The hit musical Legally Blonde will be touring to Brisbane in 2013, contrary to rumours which had suggested the show was closing early in Sydney. Thank goodness!

Starring Lucy Durack, David Harris and Rob Mills, Legally Blonde will be heading to the Lyric Theatre, QPAC in March (opening night scheduled for 14 March) for a limited season, with tickets on sale from December 3.

Co-Producer John Frost is confident that Brisbane audiences enjoy this fun-filled musical, which has enjoyed critical acclaim in London, New York and now Sydney, Australia.

“I’m thrilled to be co-producing this fantastic musical”, he said. “Brisbane audiences are in for a real treat in 2013.”

Co-Producer Howard Panter, Creative Director of Ambassador Theatre Group echos Frost’s sentiments:

“I have no doubt Brisbane will take Legally Blonde the Musical into their hearts as well and have an Elle of a party at the theatre.”

The show will also star Cameron Daddo, Erika Heynatz, and Channel 10’s I Will Survive winner Michael Snell.
