John Frost AM to deliver keynote at Stagecraft conference

2014 JC Williamson award recipient and big-time theatre producer John Frost will be a keynote speaker at the Association of Community Theatre’s Stagecraft conference.

Frost will talk about his lengthy and successful career, and will also chair a session on how to audition for a musical.

Now in its ninth outing, The Association Community Theatre holds a conference every year for performers, administrators, directors of community theatre.

This year it will be held at NIDA on September 20 and 21.

ACT patron Nancye Hayes AM is another guest lecturer.

Other sessions will focus on various aspects of stagecraft: auditioning for a play, character work, access, prop and set construction, lighting, directing, budgeting, social media, copyright, working with children, OH&S, and more.

The entire weekend program including dinner, two lunches and all seminars costs ACT members just $130.
