Last week Opera Australia invited media inside the rehearsal room of The King and I for a sneak peek.
AussieTheatre was able to capture these images of Lisa McCune and the cast at work as they rehearsed with the children’s ensemble.
Currently in their final week of rehearsal at The Opera Centre in Sydney, the cast and crew of this revival production are preparing to transfer to Brisbane ahead of a 6 week season in the sunshine state.
The production, presented by Opera Australia and John Frost, opens in Brisbane on April 19 with previews from April 15.
