The UK’s finest burlesque troupe, led by Miss Polly Rae — whom our Kylie herself calls a “phenomenal performer” — will from the 5th of January fill the Factory Theatre with the kind of non-stop pop erotic cabaret that’s sure to make you a little hot under the collar. Winners of Best Troupe at the 2007 Ministry of Burlesque Awards, Miss Polly Rae and the Hurly Burly Girlys, with assistance from director William Baker, the mastermind behind most of Kylie Minogue’s looks (including a certain little white catsuit from the ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’ music video) also styled Britney’s 2009 Circus tour, and he brings his decadent, glamorous eye to the already-glamorous, sublime Miss Polly Rae and the Hurly Burly Girlys. This all-singing, all-dancing burlesque-inspired revue marries burlesque and bawdy cabaret with modern fashion, music, and pop culture.
