Harold Prince, acclaimed theatre producer and director, turns 90

Harold Prince is Broadway Royalty (see what we did there?) and if you don’t know his name, you’ll definitely know his work.

With an incredible 21 Tony Awards to his name, he is heading to Australia in October to direct Opera Australia and GFO’s production of Evita. He’s been working in the theatre for 70 years, has produced and directed some of the most game changing musicals of the modern era. He’s a visionary. He’s an artist. Oh, and he just celebrated his 90th birthday. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAL!)

Check out this timeline of his life from the official Evita website and help us to congratulate this master of storytelling on 70 years in the theatre!
