“Is the glass half full or half empty? That depends on whether you’re drinking from it or filling it up!”

Half Full is an eclectic and intimate look at life at its fullest, the ups and downs and struggles and triumphs of a 20-something girl trying to do her best in a world that isn’t.

While the world’s media focuses on loss and destruction, Bex Grennan swims upstream to her affirmation cards and living mantras all the time looking to see how ‘full her glass’ is.

Grennan’s 1-hour cabaret show tells the hilarious and moving tale of love, loss and finding your way through the dark into a rebirth and re-emergence of a more hopeful life.

Devised by Bex Grennan + Robyn Moase, Half Full was first performed in Sydney’s Bar Me in Kings Cross, and features songs from established Aussie Indie such as Qld’s own Kate Miller-Heidke as well as original work, a musical theatre showstopper and some professional playing of the kazoo.

Bex Grennan is a seasoned performer having begun her career with the Ballet Theatre of Qld. Previous professional performance work includes Hugh Jackman’s The Boy From Oz, Shout- The Legend of The Wild One, Mame for the Production Company, Grease the Arena Spectacular, The Boyfriend, Sweet Charity, Universal Studios Japan, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Princess Cruise lines, Happy Feet the movie as well as various TVCs.

Bex will be performing Half Full as part of the Brisbane Cabaret Festival at the Pink Piano on Wickham Terrace, Thursday 1st and 8th November
