One of Australia’s much-loved children’s series is ‘Emily Eyefinger’ and the talented team at Monkey Baa have developed the popular story into an enchanting new stage production.

‘Emily Eyefinger’ is the story of a gifted young girl accepting her differences and finding peace within herself. Emily was born with an extraordinary gift – an eye on the end of her finger which means, for Emily, an adventure is around every corner. Yet despite her gift Emily struggles with being different.

It’s not long before she is contemplating life without her special eye – and even considers surgical removal! As she ponders her dilemma, Emily and her best friend Malcolm embark on a huge adventure – solving the mystery of the Tomb of Tutenkamouse.

Kids from ages five and up will just adore the fast-paced theatrical adventure that is ‘Emily Eyefinger’. The colourful characters and resonating themes of identity, respect, self worth and friendship presented in the show are great lessons for both young and old.

Directed by John Saunders, the cast includes two of Monkey Baa’s co-founders and creative directors, Sandra Eldridge and Tim McGarry, along with Dannielle Jackson as Emily, Douglas Hansell and Christopher Childs-Maidment.

Emily Eyefinger hits the Q Theatre stage in Penrith on Saturday, August 6 at 6.30pm. Tickets are $18 each, or family of four $64 (includes at least two children).
