Starring Rob Mills as Danny and rising star Gretel Scarlett as Sandy, the ticket sales for GREASE in Brisbane have been exceptionally strong, with extra performances added to the limited season in order to accommodate demand.

Producer John Frost is over the moon with this new production, with high praise for the talented cast.

“We have assembled an extraordinarily talented cast, and I think audiences will be blown away by the energy and excitement they’re going to see on stage”, he said.

“The dancing is sensational, and all our favourite GREASE songs are performed brilliantly. There’s some hilarious pre-show entertainment for audience members from the minute the theatre doors open, and a sing-a-long at the end of the show.”

It was announced recently that an Australian cast album was recorded during the GREASE rehearsal period in Sydney and this rare Aussie cast recording will be available for audiences to purchase at the theatre.

40 years since the original Australian production, it appears as though Grease is still as popular as ever and with an impressive cast including  Bert Newton as veteran disc jockey Vince Fontaine, Todd McKenney as Teen Angel, Anthony Callea as Johnny Casino, Val Lehman as Miss Lynch, Lucy Maunder as Rizzo and Stephen Mahy as Kenickie, it is anticipated that the Brisbane season will come close to selling out!
