Soap Home And Away is one of the most popular shows on UK television and one of its longest-serving stars, Ray Meagher (pronounced Marr), is set to take to the stage in Priscilla at the Palace Theatre in London.
Meagher, who has played Alf on Home And Away for 22 years, will play the role of Bob from September 20 until around March 2011.
The 65-year-old played Bob for a short stint in the Australian production.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Tony Sheldon (pictured) will play the role of Bernadette in Priscilla when it premieres on Broadway next March.
Sheldon finished a stint in the London production last month.
