Friends with Benefits announce Melbourne dates

Melbourne’s favourite cabaret wineo, Tash York and her very good Friends take you through a night of stories, songs and stripping – without being too emotionally involved. After huge success with her award-winning, 5-star show Adulting, York is bringing her brand new variety hour, Friends with Benefits to the Butterfly Club this December.
As an internationally touring cabaret artist Tash has had the pleasure of acquiring a lot of friends who all have a variety of benefits… aka talents. Now she’s decided to create a variety night where she gets to show them all off.
This month Tash will be joined by 3 talented friends each night on a rotating line up with the exception of our incredible Burlesque Queen (and current Miss Burlesque Australia) Ms Bettie Bombshell who will be performing each night. Since debuting the show in August, Bettie and Tash have also started a podcast with the same name, which talks all about the indie arts scene in Australia and covers the good, the bad and the shade of it all! Podcast guests that will also be performing at the show includes fabulous friends such as Dolly Diamond, Anna Piper Scott and Charity Werk to name a few!
Tash York is known for her ballsy voice, dynamic energy and her uncanny ability to rap on command, and this show is sure to be an evening of matchless comedy-cabaret (with a few extra benefits). Bring your best Judy and join them for “Friends with Benefits” a variety show that is guaranteed to give you all gain, with no walk of shame!
‘York is a true talent, audiences are lucky to experience – Theatre People
‘Tash is captivating, extremely talented and will immerse you in her musical world’ – The Beat
‘Tash York, one of Melbourne’s great cabaret artists’ – We Know Melbourne
