Earlier this week, AussieTheatre went inside the Grease audition room to find out more about the search for Australia’s newest T-Birds and Pink Ladies.
Over 500 young performers in Melbourne and 500 in Sydney came in for the chance to land a role in one of Australia’s most-loved musicals. We were at the last day of callbacks at Sydney’s Lyric Theatre.
The show marks the first professional Australian production of Grease since the 2005 arena production starring John Farnham.
A casting announcement, as well as dates and venues for the tour, is expected shortly.
