Exclusive cast announcement, Ordinary Days Melbourne

Today, AussieTheatre can exclusively announce the cast for the second half of Pursued by Bear’s Chump Days double bill, Ordinary Days.

Set against New York’s sprawling metropolis, this contemporary chamber musical celebrates the amazing and unexpected ways in which our stories intersect. A proven Musical Theatre cult hit with a sensational score by Adam Gwon, Ordinary Days delves with humorous insight into modern love, finding connection, and the beauty of our everyday lives. With refreshing honesty and poignant accuracy, Ordinary Days captures the moments where four stories intersect in a city of 8.3 million to create something resplendent and unique.

Director, Tyran Parke and Musical Director, Stephanie Lewendon-Lowe have assembled an extraordinary cast to bring these incredible stories to life.

The cast is comprised of Brittanie Shipway (Big Fish, The Voice) as Claire, Matthew Hamilton (Once, Georgy Girl, Dreamlover ) as Jason, Joel Granger (Big Fish, Sweeney Todd, The Gathering) as Warren and introducing newcomer Nicola Bowman as Deb.

Matt Edwards

Matt is a past owner of AussieTheatre, working as digital director from 2011 to 2019. He is also a performer, most recently appeared in the Australian tour of Mamma Mia! and previously in the Australian/NZ tour of CATS and Enda Markey's acclaimed production of Blood Brothers. As well as performing Matt keeps himself busy in the digital side of the arts working with web design agency Emptyhead Digital
