Taking to the piano for his first ever public performance in Australia, A Whole New World of Alan Menken brings his extraordinary career to life, featuring chart-topping hits including Beauty and the Beast, A Whole New World, Colors of the Wind and Go the Distance, and many more.
Providing the backdrop to Alan Menken, seated centre stage at the piano, is projected archival photos and rarely seen footage that will bring audiences inside his creative world, revealing the inspiration, stories, and behind-the-scenes moments that shaped some of the most iconic songs of all time. The evening offers an intimate look at his legendary collaborations, especially with the late lyricist Howard Ashman, whose partnership helped define the Disney Renaissance.

A Whole New World of Alan Menken will play at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Wednesday 6 May, and the Sydney Event Centre on Friday 8 May.
