Eddie Perfect to score bound-for-Broadway Beetlejuice musical

It’s showtime!

Eddie Perfect

Our own Eddie Perfect (Shane Warne: The Musical) will write the score of Warner Brothers’ new musical adaptation of cult faovurite movie Beetlejuice.

This new version of the show (a previous developmental reading was held last year) will, according to Playbill, be staged as a reading in New York in May.

Perfect joins a team that includes director Alex Timbers (Rocky the Musical) and writing team Scott Brown and Anthony King (Gutenberg! The Musical).

Beetlejuice, a comedy about a kinda gross, kinda lovable spirit and the family he torments, is a Tim Burton classic. If you don’t know it, watch the trailer here!
