The Production Company have confirmed the full cast of their upcoming musical Dusty and – in a first for the Melbourne based musical theatre company – have announced the show will tour to Adelaide for a New Year’s Eve opening at the Festival Theatre.
Expanding their reach to South Australia is an exciting development for The Production Company, a not-for-profit theatrical company established in 1999, and this tour will diversify the work showcased at Adelaide’s already bustling Festival Centre.
Joining previously announced cast members Amy Lehpamer as Dusty and Todd McKenney as Rodney are Elenoa Rokobaro in her Production Company debut as Reno, Virginia Gay (Winners and Losers) as Peg, Anne Wood as Kay and Tyler Coppin as Gerard O’Brien.
Ella Burns, Nicole Melloy, Luke Alleva, Joshua Mulheran, Chidi Mbakwe, Ruvarashe Ngwenya, Emma Hawthorne, Loren Hunter, Nicholas Kyriacou, and Rubin Matters will round out the ensemble roles.
Australia’s John O’Hara has been confirmed to perform the role of Rodney at selected performances as Todd McKenney’s alternate and in the role of the young Dusty (Mary O’Brien) is Baylie Carson, who makes her professional debut in this role.
This new production is directed by award winning director, Jason Langley, conducted by Michael Tyack and choreographed by Michael Ralph.
The Adelaide run will fill the empty slot left by We Will Rock You’s recently cancelled season in Adelaide, although it is understood that Dusty will only play a limited season in South Australia.
Full cast for the Adelaide season has not been confirmed.

The musical Dusty was outstanding. Amy Lehpamer managed to put together a stunning rendition of the artist Dusty. Amazing!!!
I have been trying to book tickets for Sat 7th January for weeks now with no success
I had to give my ticket away for the Melbourne show Sun 27th and my friends said I just have to go
