Durack and Castles present two workshops at The Capitol Theatre, Sydney

Wicked Australia’s Glinda, Lucy Durack and Associate Music Director Geoffrey Castles are holding two very special workshops this week in Sydney.

There is no rest for the cast and crew of Wicked. Despite floods in Brisbane forcing their company to be evacuated, Lucy Durack (Glinda) and Wicked’s Associate Music Director Geoffrey Castles will be working with up-and-coming music theatre performers in a very special workshop series this week.  “Geoffrey and I thought it would be fun to run some workshops for budding young music theatre performers”, says Durack (pictured).   “We can now confirm that we will be using Wicked Sydney’s Captiol Theatre Rehearsal Room as our venue!”
Participants will have the chance to spend a day workshopping their choice of musical theatre numbers with these two professional artists, receiving constructive feedback, advice and industry insights.  Numbers are limited to email Geoffrey Castles at geoffreycastles@me.com for any questions and to reserve your place on either Thursday 20th Jan (10am-4pm) or Saturday 22nd Jan- 10am-4pm.  The workshops will cost only $150 (to be paid on the day), and participants are asked to bring sheet music for 3 music theatre numbers they know well.  More Information
