Due to demand, Rap Guide To Evolution adds extra show to Melbourne run

Don’t sleep with mean people and other words of wisdom…

The Rap Guide to Evolution in action

Internationally renowned hip-hop storyteller Baba Brinkman is coming to Melbourne this weekend with his multi-award winning show A Rap Guide to Evolution.

Although originally scheduled to perform two shows only (Friday 6 and Saturday 7 June) as part of a national tour, due to a huge demand for tickets a third and final show has opened up on Saturday 7 at 8:30pm.

This hyper-literate science rapper (with a Masters in Medieval and Renaissance English Literature), has recently completed a five month sold-out season of The Rap Guide To Evolution Off Broadway. The show includes Brinkman’s own clever works as well as re-workings of popular rap singles to illustrate natural selection, sexual selection and evolutionary psychology. A multi-media performance, complete with a live DJ (Jamie Simmonds) and epic audio-visual show is provocative, hilarious, intelligent and scientifically accurate – in Brinkman’s own words: “something completely new that no one had tried before.”

Book your tickets to the show before the final seats sell out!
