AussieTheatre is proud to announce that Australian music theatre star David Harris will be joining our team to pen a regular rehearsal blog for the upcoming season of Legally Blonde.

The exclusive weekly column giving readers an insight into the world of professional music theatre rehearsals.

Harris’ Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Award nominated performance as Chris in Miss Saigon cemented him as one of Australia’s emerging musical theatre stars. He has also appeared as John Brooke in Little Women, Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, Malcolm in The Full Monty, Rick in Debbie Does Dallas – The Musical and Scott in Nick Enright’s Blackrock.

Currently, Harris is starring as Fiyero in Wicked – a role which earned him his second Helpmann Award nomination, in 2011.

Harris’ debut blog – A Whirlwind World Theatre Tour part one and two – is currently featuring on AussieTheatre. The three part blog series details Harris’ thoughts on his recent tour to the West End and Broadway. Part three will be published this week.

Legally Blonde will open at the Lyric Theatre, The Star on October 4 2012 starring Lucy Durack, Rob Mills, Cameron Daddo and David Harris.
