Arts Centre Melbourne alongside Rawcus Ensemble are delivering Dance It Out, a program inviting the public to join in on free dance sessions through August.
The sessions will include experienced performers with a range of industry experience encouraging the audience to join via Zoom and get active.
Dance It Out is another example of emphasising mental and physical wellbeing during periods of stress and uncertainty and also provides opportunities for disabled and non-disabled audience members alike.
In these uncertain times it can feel difficult to be motivated and many of our usual support outlets are unavailable to us, says Kate Sulan, Rawcus Artistic Director.
Arts Centre Melbourne is delighted to be working alongside Rawcus Ensemble to share this wonderful opportunity with the public.
“It’s exciting to share Dance It Out by Rawcus Melbourne’s critically acclaimed ensemble of performers with and without disability, with our audience, said Wendy O’Neill, Arts Centre Melbourne’s Creative Producer, Access & Inclusion.
“Dance It Out invites us to come together online, through dance and movement – a perfect antidote to the uncertainty and restrictions our community is currently experiencing.”
