Theatre fans are being invited to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Glen Street Theatre with a spectacular Gala Concert on Saturday, September 25, and help raise money for the North Shore’s premier theatre.
This wonderful night of entertainment begins with a pre-show cocktail party where canapés and champagne will be served from 7pm, followed by a 90 minute concert on Glen Street’s main stage from 8pm.
Guests will enjoy magnificent performances by a line up of special guests including Stephen Fisher-King, Peter Cousens, Anne Maree McDonald, Leigh Archer, Wayne Scott Kermond and more, accompanied by an eight piece band showcasing some of Sydney’s finest musicians. The evening will also be hosted by Glen Street’s very own – and very cheeky – “Dame” who’ll be sure to have the audience in stitches.
Following the Concert, the audience will join the “Dame” and performers at the after show cast party, where a number of fantastic prizes will be auctioned, including tickets for events at Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney Opera House, Musica Viva, the City Recital Hall, Ensemble Theatre and Opera Australia, and a Driving Hot Laps package including accommodation, meals and a fun filled race day driving hot laps as a passenger in a race Porsche at Wakefield Race Track.
The event is on Saturday, September 25. Bookings: (02) 9975 1455.
