Comedian Grant Busé makes his return to Australia for the 2021 Melbourne Cabaret Festival

Acclaimed comedian and musician Grant Busé is marking his return Down Under, with the Australian premiere of his latest show SentiMENTAL! to take place at Melbourne Cabaret Festival next month. This will be his first major show back in Australia after three years living in the UK and touring around Europe.

Grant Busé is a London based Australian comedian, musician, actor and MC. His unique brand of musical comedy is enjoyed by a wide variety of audiences. His cheeky antics, clever song writing and razor sharp wit have established him as a “remarkable talent and one to watch” (Australian Stage).

Grant has toured his original shows internationally to critical acclaim and sell out shows. He was placed in the top 10 must see comedy shows at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival by The Scotsman newspaper.  His work has also earned him nominations for ‘Best Cabaret’ and ‘Best Comedy’ at Fringe World Festival and in 2018 Grant won ‘Best Cabaret’ at the Adelaide Fringe Weekly Awards.  2019 took him on a European tour performing in England, Scotland, Netherlands, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Malta, Italy and Greece.

Grant has also done a variety of professional musical, film, TV and radio work, including a returning guest role on Australian soap ‘Neighbours’.  In 2015, he performed his comedy work on TEDx.

SentiMENTAL celebrates and mocks the never-ending nostalgia assaulting our modern senses. It is a hilarious, music-fuelled deconstruction of our selective memories that will make audiences wonder were the good old days really that good? Grant will be performing two shows only, on 19 and 20 June at 6pm, at Loft, Chapel Off Chapel – one of Melbourne’s most popular live performance venues.
