Cirque du Soleil Acrobat Plunges to death during live Las Vegas show

The circus and performing arts community grieve this morning with very sad news from Cirque du Soleil.

This article in the Sydney Morning Herald has the details.

An Australian ex-Cirque du Soleil employee wrote this morning “To all aerialists, acrobats, high divers, FMXers, riggers and circus people everywhere, please be safe always and respect the risks you take.”

Our thoughts are with Cirque du Soliel’s Ka company, and the family of the artist who died today.
