Chinese National award-winning ballet The Red Dress – photo feature

Did you miss the spectacular production of The Red Dress in Melbourne this month?

Never fear! We’ve got some great shots from the show thanks to photographer Belinda Strodder to share with you all.

Presented by the China Arts and Entertainment Group, this Chinese National award winning ballet played an exclusive season at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre earlier this month after premiering at New York’s Lincoln Centre 12 months ago.

The Red Dress tells a bittersweet and beautiful love story in Southern China and director Wang Xiaoying (also deputy director of the National Theatre of China) along with more than 45 dancers brought the grand spectacle of Chinese traditional culture to life on stage.
