The hit revival of the musical Chicago will close in Melbourne this weekend, taking a break before heading to Perth.
The show recently extended until mid-December, but has confirmed a November 29 closing date, with December ticket holders advised to seek refunds or exchange their tickets for a different performance.
The musical opens at the Regal Theatre in Perth in February.
Chicago, which opened at Her Majesty’s Theatre in August, currently stars Caroline O’Connor and Sharon Millerchip in the lead roles, with Colleen Hewett recently replacing Gina Riley as Mama Morton.
Chicago is one of the most successful musicals in the world, and its Australian tour – produced by John Frost – has been a great success.
