CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY postpones Brisbane season

Following QPAC’s announcement that they are shutting theatres, the producers of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory have released a statement regarding the status of the show.

The primary concern for the Producers of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the well-being of our audience, cast, crew and theatre staff.

In consultation with QPAC, we have reviewed the advice issued by the Federal Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and in line with recommendations have postponed the Brisbane season of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

We do not make these decisions lightly, and understand the disappointment our loyal patrons are experiencing. However we must prioritise the health and well-being of all Australians.

We sincerely thank you for your patience and especially for your support of the industry while we work through these complex issues.

If you purchased your ticket(s) using credit card or PayPal via QTIX Ticketing, you will receive a refund of the full purchase price. If you purchased ticket(s) using cash, or EFTPOS, QTIX will contact you to organise a refund.

We will be in touch later in the year to confirm when Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will open in Brisbane.

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in the Factory soon!
