• The Substance – 4 th March (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth). A body horror thriller starring Demi Moore which received five Oscar nominations.
• Emilia Pérez – 5 th March (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth). A Spanish-language musical crime film from French director Jacques Audiard. With 13 Oscar nominations, it has broken the record for most nominations earned by a film not in the English language.
• Anora – 6 th March (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth). Anora, a sex worker from Brooklyn, gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and marries the son of an oligarch. After a strong awards season this comedy-drama is now a front-runner for Best Picture.
• A Complete Unknown – 7 th March (Melbourne, Perth), 18th March (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth). A biographical drama exploring the life of Bob Dylan, starring Timothée Chalamet. It has received eight Oscar nominations.
• Wicked – 7 th March (Sydney), 8th March (Melbourne, Perth), 28th March (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth). The dazzling adaptation of the Broadway musical, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, which received 10 Oscar nominations.
• Conclave – 9 th March (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth). A tense thriller set in the Vatican, starring Ralph Fiennes. The film follows the secretive process of electing a new Pope, unravelling political intrigue and hidden agendas and received eight Oscar nominations.
