Bonnie Lythgoe Productions brings Panto Cinderella to the Stage

The much-loved classic, Cinderella, will soon appear in Sydney (fulfilling our childhood wishes!) Bonnie Lythgoe Productions presents the magical pantomime Cinderella, opening at the State Theatre on Friday 1 July and running through to Sunday 17 July.

This enchanting production will present the well-known tale of rags to riches, complimented by sumptuous glittering sets, gorgeous fairy-tale costumes, contemporary songs, fabulous dance numbers, riotous comedy magic and plenty of audience participation.

Bonnie Lythgoe Productions is Australia’s biggest family musical pantomime producer. Bonnie has been staging pantos in the US for years, and we’ve recently been able to enjoy her work in Australia. Cinderella follows the success of Snow White Winter Family Musical in 2014, and Aladdin and His Wondrous Lamp last year. Bonnie aspires to bring affordable theatre to families across Australia by presenting fun musical theatre for the whole family to enjoy.

Casting is still underway however our sweetheart ingénue has already been found, Cinderella will be played by newcomer Jaime Hadwen. The wicked stepmother will be played by Gina Liano (‘Real Housewife of Melbourne’), and Dandini will be played by Jimmy Rees (aka Jimmy Giggle).

Tickets are available now at ticketmaster.com.au.
