Bob Downe is making a polyester pause at Sydney Theatre with his latest solo extravaganza, 20 Golden Greats. Fresh from triumphant tours of the Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy festivals, Bob is shimmying to his own beat. “I’ve left the boys, I’ve gone solo! This time, you’ve got me all to yourself!”
With the introduction of trivia to the show, there are prizes to be had as you laugh yourself silly and sing along to the retro hits you love.
Bob Downe needs no introduction, described as “The king of synthetic fabrics” and “The man with the smile cheesier than Bega” critics all agree that you will not be able to resist singing along to the “smarmiest songs ever written”.
Bob Downe’s show 20 Golden Greats will be playing at the Sydney Theatre in Walsh Bay from 25th May for five shows only.
