Bell Shakespeare and Collins St Asset Management announce new partnership

Bell Shakespeare has today announced Collins St Asset Management as its 2024 Opening Night Series Partner; a partnership inspired by a shared commitment to challenging the status quo and an unwavering belief in the power of art to contribute to a more vibrant and prosperous future.

Partnering with Bell Shakespeare will not only help the Melbourne-based boutique funds manager to actively promote its distinctively different approach to Australian equities investing but will also allow for brand engagement with audiences of Bell Shakespeare’s upcoming productions of King Lear in Sydney and Melbourne and In a Nutshell: The Poetry of Violence in Sydney and Canberra.

For Bell Shakespeare, this critical support will help to extend the company’s national reach through its
mainstage theatre and education programs and help achieve its mission of making Shakespeare accessible to all Australians.

Chair of Bell Shakespeare, Philip Crutchfield KC :

Bell Shakespeare’s activities reach more than 130,000 people each year in theatres, schools, and communities across Australia, which is core to its mission of making Shakespeare accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Thanks to the generous support of partners such as Collins St Asset Management, we will reach even more communities around Australia, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience live theatre.

Rob Hay, Head of Distribution and Investor Relations, Collins St Asset Management:

We are excited by the opportunity to partner with Bell Shakespeare and support the amazing work they do inspiring, nurturing, and showcasing talented artists all over Australia.

As a boutique fund manager responsible for investing over $300M on behalf of over 500 high net worth private investors, family offices and philanthropic foundations we share Bell Shakespeare’s passion for performance, independent thinking, and shared success – shared with our clients, our partners and our community.
