Australian musical theatre performer Michael Falzon, 48, has sadly passed away following a battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
Falzon had appeared in a number of Australian and international productions including HMS Pinafore with Opera Queensland, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Jesus Christ Superstar, War of the Worlds, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, and Evita.
Falzon had appeared in a number of concerts alongside the Perth Symphony Orchestra and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Arts publicist Ian Phipps broke the news on social media last night with his friends and colleagues paying tribute to an industry legend.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
