Australia’s leading theatre website, AussieTheatre.com, has launched a new membership drive as part of a re-structure of the website’s revenue streams and in an effort to further link the website with the theatre industry.
AussieTheatre.com Le Grande, as the member section is now known, features giveaways, competitions and special offers, and there will be further enhancements in the coming weeks and months.
Furthermore, anyone who joins as a member this week will receive two free tickets to the Sydney season of Fame at the Capitol Theatre.
The membership section has a new price of $99.95 but the membership price will be returned via the incredible discounts, giveaways and special deals, such as the Fame giveaway.
“What we plan to do is work really hard for our members, to make them feel special, and to make membership a vital part of the website,” said AussieTheatre.com Managing Editor, Troy Dodds.
“We are obviously moving into an interesting time for the website, including some big changes at the back end of next year, so linking up with the industry further is important to us.”
Current special offers include discounts on theatre photography, publicity, vocal lessons and showreels, plus there’s giveaways to Becky Shaw in Melbourne and The Grenade at the Sydney Theatre Company.
“I come from a sporting background where memberships are so important,” Dodds said.
“I want to do something similar for theatre. People who become members today already have access to great discounts, but they will be blown away by what we do for members over the next year or so.”
This week, AussieTheatre.com will introduce an exclusive Member’s News section, as well as the ability for members to comment on stories throughout the website.
