Auditions now open for Stage School Australia’s MARY POPPINS JR

These July school holidays, audiences will be swept away by the timeless tale of MARY POPPINS JR, performed at the Cripps Centre in St Kilda East for a strictly limited season.

Following the success of SPING AWAKENING, OLIVER JR., SEUSSICAL, SHREK JR. and more, the YABC is delighted to bring the magic of MARY POPPINS to the stage for the first time, in it’s history!

With its unforgettable music, enchanting characters, and a heartwarming message, MARY POPPINS JR is a vibrant adaptation of the beloved Disney classic. Featuring songs such as Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, A Spoonful of Sugar, and Step in Time, this high-energy production is set to delight audiences of all ages.

Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Disney film, MARY POPPINS JR is a joyous celebration of imagination, adventure, and the power of believing in the impossible. With a book by Julian Fellowes (DOWNTON ABBEY), music by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, and additional lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, this junior adaptation has been specially designed to showcase our fabulous young talent from across Melbourne in a fully costumed and staged large scale production.
