Cast submissions are now open to all performers aged 10-19. Performers under the age of 14 will be double cast, and perform at half of the scheduled performances.
Performers are required to prepare and submit a 16-bar musical theatre excerpt (from the selections provided), using an English accent. (Please note, this production will be in an English accent, so please avoid strong American and Australian accen.
Auditionees aged 10 – 13 years, please sing from the ‘younger voice’ selection. Auditionees aged 14+ years, please sing from the ‘older voice’ section. Audition material can be found HERE, including vocal guides and backing tracks.
Submissions should be filmed in a mid-shot and can be recorded on a mobile phone, but make sure you can be seen and heard clearly. Following this, please upload your self-tape to YouTube or Vimeo (as ‘Unlisted’) and include your full name in the video description. Your performance should be recorded “live”. Do not edit, mix, add effects or pitch correct your vocals.

IN-PERSON AUDITIONS
Selected applicants will be invited to attend an in-person vocal and movement audition session on Sunday, 30 Ma at the Stage School Australia Head Office (23 Allen Street, Moreland VIC 3058). Audition materials will be provided upon invitation. Sessions are by appointment and will last approximately 90 minutes.
Note: Certain performers may be ‘called back’ and required to submit additional material in the form of a
video submission. Callback submissions are due by Thursday, 3 April 2025.
Video and sound recording may be made of auditionees during the audition process, for internal use only. All auditionees will be notified of their audition outcome via email after the final round of auditions.
