With Lorina Gore, Tobias Cole, Sam-Roberts Smith and Samuel Dundas, the concert features a program full of songs you probably already know. From Brahms’ Lullaby to Dvorak’s Songs my mother taught me and Danny Boy, it’s a concert you can walk into the theatre humming.

The second is A concert to celebrate the memory of one of Australia’s greatest sopranos Amanda Thane OAM on Sunday 21 July. Amanda Thane was one of the leading ladies of Opera Australia throughout the 1980s and 90s and was the brain behind ARTSONG NSW. Headlined by coloratura superstar Emma Matthews, the concert also features Dominica Matthews, Glen Winslade, Michael Honeyman and David Parkin.

Finally is Schubert’s ‘Schwanengesang’ or Swan Song on Sunday 15 September. This collection of songs completed just before Schubert’s early death will be performed by tenor Robert Macfarlane accompanied by pianist John Martin.
